Bloopers and Goofs: Which Host Flubbed their Lines Today?

Today, July 9, 2011, host Mike Galanos on HLN cable channel flubbed his lines when speaking to one of the reporters that bring stories to Mike to inform his viewers and to get his reaction. Reporter Casey Jordan was as perky as all get out and acted disturbed about her story. She was reporting on the Casey Anthony acquittal. She said, (pretending that the story was a flashback) the prosecutor is going to ask to get a conviction on first degree murder. Mike jumped in and said but she was already acquitted. The camera jumped back to Casey Jordan who said well they shouldn’t have asked to get a first degree murder, they should have asked to get an involuntary manslaughter. Mike looked at the cameras with a slight grin and said what is she going to do now? Reporter Casey Jordan said look for the real killer or some such answer which really made no sense. The entire scene was supposed to be played as if it had taken place 10 days earlier but Mike had flubbed his lines and played the scene like it was happening now. Mike was able to come through without sounding totally ridiculous but reporter Casey Jordan looked as if he had violated her face with the grimacing and chin gesturing.
